Fluid City Rising is located at the Historic Hoover steps. Three panels consisting of acrylic on a non-woven membrane were painted in studio and installed over concrete. Measuring 48’ x 10’ with a 22' projection forward from rear wall on painted steps, the artwork transforms a once blighted walkway into a cultural landmark for pedestrians. Produced in collaboration with LA CD 14 & Greater Griffith Park Neighborhood Association, the mural harnesses the spirit of the surrounding neighborhood depicting both nourishment for the existing community and a vision for the future.
